Pepsi DJ Clash winnaar
One afternoon somewhere in the beginning of 2007 two friends decided to join forces, one DJ and one producer, both sharing great passion for house music. Bassjackers was born! Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst had not foreseen what was to come when they started their collaboration. Marlon was mainly DJ-ing and playing house music, when the idea came to push Ralph's productions in a direction where Marlon could play the tracks in his sets.
Dutch breakout Dyro emerged in 2013 as one of the scene's hottest new stars. Debuting at #30 in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, he became the youngest 'Highest New Entry' artist to ever appear in the definitive DJ poll. Known for driving bass lines, enchanting melodies and highly charged drops he has seamlessly made the transition from bedroom musician to renowned international DJ/Producer. Having snatched the highest new entry accolade in the 2013 poll Dyro has surpassed all expectations with his rapid ascent into the upper reaches of the dance scene. Previously tipped by the likes of World #1 DJ Hardwell, Laidback Luke, and Dada Life as their 'Breakthrough Artist of 2012', the 21 year old star has lived up to the praise bestowed upon him and cemented his standing with seminal releases like his first Beatport # 1 record alongside Hardwell for 'Never Say Goodbye', as well as an extended streak of visibility on the global clubbing circuit.
Steve Aoki is a DJ and also the founder of Dim Mak Records, which has counted leading indie rock bands such as Gossip, Bloc Party, the Kills and the Rakes among its stable of signees. The son of wealthy restauranteur Rocky Aoki, he is of Japanese heritage and calls Los Angeles home. In 2007 he released his first official mix CD, Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles, on Thrive Records. Featuring tracks by Justice, Klaxons, Mystery Jets, Peaches, Datarock, Yelle, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and Scanners -- most of them remixed -- Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles is fairly representative of Aoki's renown as a tastemaking dance-party DJ rather than a skillful turntablist.
Rachel Velberg better known as Boogshe was born on the 9th of may in Singleton, Australia. At the age of 15 she started as a singer in a girl group and at the same time she was also a dancer in the breakdance-crew called 'Rockin Nation'. Her MC career took off after providing her vocals on the smashing club banger "Slut!" by Dennis Christopher and Tony Cha Cha. Boogshe had her debute at the Zebra Lounge during the Amsterdam Dance Event 2006. Tony Cha Cha invited her to do a showcase there. Without really knowing about MCing in the dance scène she performed their track live. After their performances she suddenly started hyping the crowd naturally. People where blown away by her style, she was new and refreshing!
Releases on labels like Spinnin Records, Afrojack's Wall Recordings and Steve Aoki's Dim Mak and remixes for Laidback Luke, Sidney Samson, the Bingo Players and Hardwell. All big achievements that make 26-year-old Abdesamad Ben Abdelaouid, better known as DJ Apster, definitely stand out from all the talented DJ/Producers that the Dutch house scene has to offer.
Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands - the hometown of Tiësto & Hardwell - has already achieved a great deal since exploding onto the scene.
